I am not a poet but I like to have a go.
I asked a friend to give me a theme and some words to put in a poem. Here is one of my attempts.

A GIRLS NIGHT OUT

What to wear on a girls night out
Kitten, stiletto or wedge heel

Handbags of glittering teal

In the bars and clubs
Groups of girls gather
In the bars and clubs
With glitz and glamour

In a cloud of laughter
They dance, chat and drink
In a cloud of laughter
They gossip, flirt and wink

The secret of a girls night out
Heels, glitter and dressing up
The secret of a girls night out
Dancing, drinking and chatting up
